For many years, sportsman have enjoyed large numbers of blacktail deer in the B-zones. However, with shrinking forage and overall loss of habitat, that luxury is becoming a thing of the past. The MCBA is urging hunters to participate financially in the effort to bring the numbers of blacktails back to where it should be. Our efforts to establish projects in the B-Zones are expensive, but we are getting results; both in studies that help gauge mortality rates and in setting up habitat restoration that will allow blacktails to thrive again. Annual memberships are $30 per person, $15 for youth (12 and under).
